I work with clay as a way to explore emotion and shifting states of being. The raw textures and natural imperfections of the material mirror the complexities of the human experience. Each piece I create incorporates found objects such as rocks or fragments from nature that act as symbols of emotion, movement, and our connection to the earth.
My practice is deeply intuitive. I work solely with my hands, without the use of tools, allowing each form to emerge through direct, physical contact with the material. This hands-on process creates a strong sense of immediacy and presence, embedding emotion into each piece. Through this, I express how imperfection and instability can speak more truthfully about emotional experience than polished or refined forms ever could. I am
Inspired by the natural rhythms of the earth and guided by elements of pagan philosophy, my work reflects an interest in how nature shapes us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Each sculpture becomes an emotional vessel: fragile, instinctive, and open to interpretation. They may crack, shift, or dissolve in the mind of the viewer, hoping to raise questions about the nature of our inner worlds.
